Author Guidelines
All manuscripts submitted to journals published by Publisher Karya Grafindo Prima Perkasa must be prepared using the official manuscript template provided by each journal. Authors are required to follow the prescribed manuscript structure, formatting style, and technical writing standards established by the publisher. Manuscripts that do not conform to the template may be returned to authors for technical revision prior to the peer-review process.
The manuscript must be written in English using clear, concise, and academically appropriate language that complies with international scholarly writing standards. Authors are responsible for maintaining consistency in terminology, citation style, formatting, and language throughout the manuscript.
Title
The manuscript title must contain a maximum of sixteen (16) words and should not include the year of the research. The title must clearly reflect the focus, objective, or principal findings of the study in a concise and informative manner. Abbreviations, symbols, and uncommon terminology should be avoided whenever possible.
Abstract
The abstract must be written in a single paragraph following the IMRAD structure as specified in the journal template. The abstract should contain:
- Introduction
Provide a concise background of the study, identify the issue or phenomenon being investigated, and state the primary research problem or objective. - Literature Review
Explain the originality or contribution of the study and describe how it differs from previous research. - Methods
Describe the research approach, methodology, and data collection or analysis techniques used in the study. - Results
Present the principal findings of the study followed by a brief interpretation or discussion. - Conclusion
Summarize the main conclusions and implications of the study and communicate the primary contribution of the research.
References, figures, tables, and undefined abbreviations must not be included in the abstract.
Keywords
Authors must provide four (4) keywords immediately after the abstract. Keywords should represent the core concepts of the manuscript and must be separated by semicolons.
Example format:
KEYWORDS: Public Health; Medicine; Nursing; Biomedical Sciences
Manuscript Length
The manuscript should contain between 4,000 and 8,000 words, including all sections of the main text. Manuscripts that do not meet the required word limit may be returned for revision before entering the review stage.
Manuscript Sections
The manuscript must be organized according to the following structure:
- Introduction
• Method
• Result and Discussion
• Conclusion
Subsections may be added where necessary, provided that they remain consistent with the journal template and academic writing conventions.
Template Compliance
Authors must use the official manuscript template provided by each journal under Publisher Karya Grafindo Prima Perkasa. Preset formatting elements such as margins, font type, font size, spacing, and line numbering must not be modified.
Automatic line numbering included in the template must be retained to facilitate the peer-review and revision process.
Language Editing
Submitted manuscripts must meet international academic English standards. Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct professional language editing and proofreading prior to submission. Language quality improvement does not guarantee acceptance, as editorial decisions are based primarily on scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal scope.
Language Style
The default language style used by all journals under Publisher Karya Grafindo Prima Perkasa is American English. Authors must ensure consistency in spelling, grammar, terminology, and punctuation throughout the manuscript.
For writing conventions, references, and citations, authors are encouraged to follow the APA 7th Edition guidelines.
GUIDELINES FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES
Publisher Karya Grafindo Prima Perkasa is committed to upholding academic integrity, originality, transparency, and ethical scholarly publishing practices. This policy outlines acceptable and prohibited uses of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in manuscript preparation and submission.
The use of AI technologies does not reduce the responsibility of authors. Authors remain fully accountable for the scientific accuracy, originality, ethical integrity, and quality of all submitted content.
Permitted Uses of AI Tools
Authors may use AI-based tools for limited supportive purposes, including:
- Grammar correction and language editing
• Improving readability, sentence structure, and clarity
• Assisting with manuscript organization and drafting support
AI tools may only be used to improve communication quality and must not replace the intellectual contribution of the authors.
Prohibited Uses of AI Tools
The following practices are strictly prohibited:
- Generating substantial parts of the manuscript, including analysis, interpretation, discussion, or conclusions
• Fabricating, altering, or manipulating research data, images, tables, or results
• Producing false citations, references, or bibliographic information
• Submitting AI-generated content without human verification and editorial disclosure
Violation of these policies may result in manuscript rejection, publication retraction, or additional editorial investigation.
Disclosure and Transparency
Any use of AI tools must be transparently disclosed in the manuscript. Authors must clearly mention:
- The AI tool used
• The purpose of its use
• The manuscript section(s) where AI assistance was applied
Disclosure may be included in the Acknowledgments or Methods section where appropriate.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are fully responsible for:
- Ensuring the originality and scientific validity of the manuscript
• Verifying that all AI-assisted content is free from plagiarism and factual inaccuracies
• Maintaining ethical standards in authorship, citation, and data reporting
• Responding transparently to editorial inquiries regarding AI usage
AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors under any circumstances.
REFERENCES
Preparing and Formatting References
All manuscripts submitted to journals under Publisher Karya Grafindo Prima Perkasa must be supported by credible, relevant, and up-to-date scholarly references.
Minimum requirement: 30 references, with at least 80% journal articles from reputable sources. Authors are encouraged to prioritize recent literature (last 10 years).
Non-academic sources should be minimized.
All references must include DOI where available.
Reference Style and Management
All citations must follow APA Style 7th Edition.
Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley.
References must be arranged alphabetically.

All articles are published under CC BY 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution License).
Authors retain copyright while granting publishing rights to the publisher.
This license allows reuse, adaptation, and distribution with proper attribution.
Registration and Submission System
Authors must register via the journal submission system and ensure active email addresses for editorial communication.
Authors and Affiliations
Author names must not include academic titles.
Each author must include:
- Department/Faculty
• Institution
• City/Region
• Country
• Email address

Author Responsibility and Submission Integrity
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
- Manuscript is original
• Not submitted elsewhere
• All authors approve submission
• All contributors are properly listed
Authors are fully responsible for ethical compliance, including avoiding plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and unethical authorship practices.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
